Title:
Deputy Team Lead
Location:

The Deputy Team Lead supports the Team Lead by providing technical expertise and leadership to deployed team members in the installation, maintenance, testing, diagnoses, and repair of security and surveillance systems and associated equipment at government facilities. Specific duties include the following:
- Function as a single entity while in the field, or as an interim Team Lead, in the absence of a Team Lead, or while working under a split-team configuration.
- Ensure deployed team completes assigned job duties relating to the assembly, disassembly, and installation of communication equipment (such as video and data power and communication lines and hardware), computer systems, security systems, and surveillance systems using hand and power tools. Confirms operational status and functionality of all installations.
- Evaluate quality of performance of installed equipment through observance and the use of test equipment.
- Assist with scope of work planning and installation timeline; determine viability of site through observation, measure distance from landmarks to identify exact installation site, and discuss site location and construction requirements with customer and Team Lead.
- Assess availability and suitability of on-site job materials and actual site requirements. Arrange and coordinate local procurement of construction material, equipment, professional services, etc., required for project completion.
- Review work orders, building permits, manufacturer’s instructions, and ordinances to move, change, install, repair, or remove equipment.
- Oversee and install, test, troubleshoot, or replace high end electrical equipment, components, or systems to include conduit, raceways, cable trays, junction boxes, panels, enclosures, low voltage circuits, and related hardware.
- Apply advanced principles or theories of electronics and analog electronics to assigned work.
- Use advanced level electric theory to oversee and install, test, troubleshoot, or replace electronic power, communication, and control.
- Use complex diagnostic tools to calibrate or adjust electronic equipment or instruments to specifications. Adjust or modify equipment in accordance with customer request or to enhance performance.
- Demonstrate equipment and instruct customer in use of equipment; answer customer inquiries and handle customer complaints, or equivalent experience.
- Read and understand work orders, instructions, formulas, processing charts, schematics, wire diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Where needed, create ‘system’ standard operating procedures. Provide a complete set of detailed drawings, wiring details, and equipment location to customer.
- Complete log books and verbal and written status reports as required.
- Assists with the identification and utilization of appropriate housing and support facilities for team personnel consistent with industry best practices, government travel regulations, NTMI guidelines, security requirements, and effective use of resources.
- Attend developmental and refresher training to improve or maintain technical skills.

Experience:
- High School diploma, or equivalent, required. Associates degree is a related field desired.
- Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunication systems.

CAD Specialist
Location:

Hours:
Part-time, 16-30 hours per week, scheduled work hours must be within the hours of 7:30am and 4:30pm.
The CAD Specialist is responsible for the following duties:
- Constructs detailed security drawings, which includes wiring diagrams and schematics, mechanical details, conduit and electrical runs, and overall layout of system design.
- Consults with engineering staff on development of plans and designs for installations and prepares layout diagrams to ensure accurate interpretation of designs.
- Confers with engineers and other drafters to interpret design concepts, determine nature and type of required detailed working drawings, and coordinate work with others. Insures several reviews have taken place before final plan is approved by Senior Engineer. Construction plans are created and sent to field teams for installation use.
- Prepares customer and company with deliverables in the form of preliminary and as built drawings.
- Coordinates with the field employees for any design changes during installation and for final drawing changes.
- Completes plans (Proposed, Preliminary, Construction, As Built) using Auto-CAD Building Systems 2008 platforms.
- Contributes to the development of drawings/Symbol Standards.
- Acquires and translates all necessary and relevant site plans for proposed sites into Sentrillion format.
- Coordinates with Design Engineers and Field Engineers for submittal of site survey documentation and system design representation accuracy.
- Coordinates with field installation personnel for in progress installation changes, red lines and as built accuracy.
- Reads and creates detailed schematics, wire diagrams, conduit schedules, and system layouts.
- Contributes to company documentation of internal standards and testing efforts.

Field Engineer
Location:

The Field Engineer reports to the Director of Engineering and is responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting of systems. Specific duties include the following:
- Directs activities concerned with layout and design of electrical circuitry, surveillance systems, access control systems, and intrusion detection systems to ensure conformance with statements of work, proposals, codes and safety regulations.
- Conducts site surveys and implements system design according to company specifications and customer requirements.
- Enforces company quality assurance and quality control policies and performs necessary inspections in accordance with industry standards, CMMI and QMS company processes and policies.
- Assists Engineering department with the research, development, testing and evaluation of system designs.
- Provides installation support to installation crews and engineering department.

- Minimum of 1 Certification in technology area (fiber optics, manufacturer training, computer training courses).
- 4+ years of related technical experience is desired, but recent graduates will be considered based on course work and grades.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of security system devices, major components and operating systems such as, cameras, card readers, control panels and power supplies, biometric devices, electronic strikes, magnetic locks preferred.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and installation methodology and industry practices preferred.
- ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification preferred.

The Installer receives training and learns how to install security and surveillance equipment.
Within a 90 day period, attends and successfully passes core training classes in classroom and field setting.
Classes cover core knowledge required for technical and physical security equipment installation, maintenance and repair.
Specific duties include the following:
- Measure, cut, splice, connect, solder, and install wire and cable.
- Troubleshoot, test, repair, replace, or adjust components using hand tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities: The Proposal Writer will provide comprehensive support to proposal development.
Specific tasks include:
- Participate as an active member of
the capture strategy team for both task order bids and major contract proposals.

Responsibilities: The Technician installs, maintains, tests, diagnoses, and repairs
security and surveillance systems and associated equipment at government facilities
- Provides technical expertise to other team members and supports Deputy Team Lead
and Team Lead in the completion of assigned projects.
- May function as a single entity while in the field, or as part of deployed team.
- Provide senior level expertise as a subject matter expert in the assembly, disassembly,
and installation of communication equipment (such as video and data power and communication lines and hardware),
computer systems, security systems, and surveillance systems using hand and power tools. Confirm operational
status and functionality of all installations.
- Installs, tests, troubleshoots, or replaces electrical equipment, components, or
systems to include conduit, raceways, cable trays, junction boxes, panels, enclosures, low voltage circuits, and related hardware.
- Applies principles or theories of electronics and analog electronics to assigned work.
- Uses basic electric theory (voltage, amperes, and ohms) to install, test, troubleshoot,
or replace electronic power, communication, and control.
- Measures, cuts, splices, connects, solders, and installs/strings electronic cable or wiring.
- Uses electronic test devices or equipment to calibrate or adjust electronic equipment or instruments

Required Experience:

- Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunication systems.
- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to meet Sentrillion Safe Driving Requirements.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
