MG (Ret) DALE MEYERROSE AND PETER KIRSCH NAMED TO SENTRILLION® BOARD OF ADVISORS
RESTON, VA., October 2008 – Two prominent individuals have been named to Sentrillion’s Board of Advisors, reported the company’s Chairman, Richard Kay: Major General (Retired) Dale Meyerrose, who most recently held the position of CIO and Information Sharing Executive in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and Peter Kirsch, who is Chief of Staff for the Offices of James Kimsey, founding CEO and Chairman Emeritus of America Online.
General Meyerrose, with his distinguished career as a former senior government official of more than three decades of broad Executive Branch, military, and international experience, including Chief Information Officer for six major military commands and the U.S. intelligence structure, has built and lead teams to develop vision, strategy, policy, programs, and budgets and to accomplish complex, critical missions. “I believe that General Meyerrose will help broaden our company’s scope by providing keen insight into the intelligence and national security marketplace” remarked Kay. “Mr. Kirsch brings to our company a new dimension with his experience in the domestic and international corporate world as well as government relations. Major General (Retired) Dale W. Meyerrose was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Information Sharing Executive for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) from 2005 to 2008. He was the first to hold this unique US Senate confirmed – Presidential appointed Federal position created by the US Congress in the 2004 Intelligence Reform, Terrorism Prevention Act to improve national intelligence. From 2002 to 2005 General Meyerrose served as the CIO and Director of Architecture and Integration for the North American Aerospace Defense and US Northern Commands, and was the first general officer to stand up the Nation’s first homeland defense and missile defense command, helping to author the vision statement, plans, procedures, and architectures as well as overseeing spending $66M in three months to change North American air defense into a homeland defense capability, linked to homeland security and Federal Aviation Agency authorities. Prior to that General Meyerrose was CIO and Director of Command and Control Systems, North American Aerospace Defense, US Space, and Air Force Space Commands from 2000 to 2002, and in that triple-hatted position he focused hundreds of millions of dollars in investments that improved availability and survivability of space and cyber systems and brought the entire Department of Defense together to create a vision of international impact for US government-owned communications satellites. Prior to 2000 General Meyerrose held several positions from 1992 to 2000 including CIO and Director of Communications and Information for the Air Combat Command at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, CIO and Director of C4 Systems in the US Air Forces in Europe, Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany, and Commander of Third Combat Communications Group, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. He holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado. In addition to the many awards, decorations, and achievements, General Meyerrose was recognized as one of the "Top 100" Information Technology Professionals by Federal Computer Weekly in 2005.
Peter Kirsch serves as Chief of Staff for the Offices of James V. Kimsey, Founding CEO and Chairman Emeritus of America Online. He oversees all operations ranging from private investments, venture capital, diplomatic relations and international philanthropy.
Mr. Kirsch’s responsibilities include portfolio management of a wide range of investments and companies, particularly in the Washington DC region. Investments range from start-up technology companies to entertainment companies to government services companies in the security industry. His international work is far reaching. Kirsch travels to Bosnia where he advises the International Commission for Missing Persons (ICMP) for the U.S. Department of State, which raises more than 10M to assist in the identification of more than 40,000 missing in the Balkans. For the past five years the ICMP was instrumental in building a state of the art organization that boasts the best DNA technology in the world. Currently ICMP employs 180 staff in 5 DNA laboratories around the Balkans. He has also traveled to Iraq to assess and create the framework for ICMP building a program in Iraq. Before joining Kimsey’s office, Mr. Kirsch was President, Platformix Inc., a Northern Virginia based “start-up” company providing web based applications. He helped raise more than $5M before being recruited to join Jim Kimsey’s office. Prior to Platformix, he served on the staff of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) for 11 years, four as their Chief Executive Officer. ASLA is a large non-profit association representing more than 15,000 members with an annual budget of more than 8M. He lead ASLA through explosive growth with the purchase of two private companies and their 100 year anniversary in which they developed and implemented more than 100 inner city planning and community development projects across the country. In addition to Kirsch’s work with James Kimsey, he works with many for-profit and non-profit organizations which include: Board of Advisors for America’s Promise; Chairman of the Board of Greater DC Cares. He also serves on the Board of Directors, Adeptron Technology Corporation; Board of Directors, VideoNext; Board of Directors, Xtone; Chairman of the Investment Committee, Longstreet Partners, and Advisor to Triple Canopy.

SENTRILLION® ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD OF ADVISORS
RESTON, Va., August, 2008 – Richard Kay, Sentrillion’s Chairman, announced the
creation of a Board of Advisors. The group is composed of four very distinguished and
talented leaders who bring vision, experience, and a broad network of industry contacts to
Sentrillion. They will provide advice in guiding the company’s strategies for success. The
four members include Vernon Bettencourt, Kevin Carroll, James Flyzik, and Charles
Winwood.
Vernon M. Bettencourt, Jr., is the founder of Bettencourt Consultancy, Inc. He was the
Army Deputy CIO/G-6 from November 2003 until May 2008. Prior to that he held other
prestigious positions including Director of Analysis and CIO for G3, Director of the US
Army Modeling and Simulation Office, DCS G3, an appointment to the Senior Executive
Service serving as Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Combat Developments, TRADOC,
and Special Assistant for Forces and Program Evaluation, DUSA(OR). He joined the
MITRE Defense C3I Federally Funded Research and Development Center in 1990, and
he founded the Synthetic Environments Applications Department, designing and applying
C3I simulations to support systems engineering in OSD, Army, Navy, and USMC. He then
became Army Program Area Manager for the Information Systems and Technology
Division, and finally Associate Director of Army Programs for the C3ISR Center. A 1969
graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, Mr. Bettencourt served in artillery assignments in
Germany, Vietnam, Korea, and CONUS. His Operations Research (OR) assignments
included Military Assistant to the Deputy Under Secretary of the Army, OR; Director,
TRADOC Analysis Center-Monterey; and Assistant Professor of OR, U.S. Military
Academy. Mr. Bettencourt has a Master of Science in OR from the Georgia Institute of
Technology and an MBA in Finance from C. W. Post University. He has received the SES
Presidential Rank Award of Meritorious Executive and military awards for valorous and
meritorious service. He is a Past President and Fellow of the Military Operations Research
Society and was inducted into the Georgia Tech College of Engineering’s Academy of
Distinguished Engineering Alumni in 2004.
Kevin Carroll is the President of The Kevin Carroll Group, LLC, a consulting company.
Previously as Program Executive Officer (PEO), Enterprise Information Systems, Mr.
Carroll was responsible for the program management of the Department of Defense and
Army business and combat service support systems, as well as related Army
communication and computer infrastructure that supported logistics, medical, finance,
personnel, training and procurement operations. Prior to becoming a PEO EIS, he served
as PEO STAMIS and before that was the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Research
Development and Acquisition, US Army Materiel Command. Mr. Carroll served as the
Acting Director of the Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) Acquisition
Center, in Fort Monmouth, NJ. In addition, he functioned as the Associate Director of the
2 CECOM Acquisition Center – Washington. He entered the Senior Executive Service in
June 1996 as Director of the U.S. Army Information Systems Selection and Acquisition
Agency (ISSAA). Prior to working for the Army he acquired information systems for the
U.S. Coast Guard. He began his career in contracting at the Department of Transportation.
Mr. Carroll earned both his Bachelor of Science Degree and his Masters Degree in
Business Administration from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is also a
graduate of the Federal Executive Institute and a member of NCMA Board of Advisors. He
is active in both cross-governmental bodies, as well as information technology industry
efforts. He has 30 years of government experience, 24 years of which consist of working
in the information systems arena.
James J. Flyzik, President of the consulting company, The Flyzik Group, serves as the
Chairman of the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) Committee on
Homeland Security and hosts the monthly radio program, The Federal Executive Forum on
WFED 1050 AM and www.federalnewsradio.com. Mr. Flyzik served over 27 years in the
federal government in positions such as Senior Advisor to Governor Ridge in the White
House Office of Homeland Security, Vice Chair of the Federal Government CIO Council, a
member of the President’s Critical Infrastructure Protection Board, and the Deputy
Assistant Secretary for Information Systems and Chief Information Officer for the
Department of the Treasury. He also served as the Acting Assistant Secretary for
Management for the Treasury Department,, Chief of the Communications Division of the
U.S. Secret Service, Team Leader on Vice President Gore's National Performance Review
(NPR) Information Technology Team, and Chairman of the Government Information
Technology Services Working Group. Some of his awards include the Eagle Award as the
Government Information Technology Executive of the Year in 1994, a Meritorious
Presidential Rank Award in 1995, the AFCEA Award for Excellence in Information
Technology in 1996, the AFFIRM Award for Outstanding Service to the Citizens in 1997,
the IAC Award for Special Achievements and Leadership in 1997, the AFFIRM IRM
Executive of the Year Award in 1998, the Distinguished Rank Executive Award from
President Clinton in 1999, and the Federation of Government Information Processing
Councils presented him the John J. Franke award in 2001 for outstanding government
service. Mr. Flyzik was also selected by the Federal CIO Council to receive the Azimuth
Award as the Government Executive of the Year in March 2002. He has extensive public
speaking experience and currently teaches part-time at the University of Maryland. Mr.
Flyzik has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Computer Science
and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland with an
area of concentration in Information Systems Management.
Charles W. Winwood is currently a senior consultant on border security and enforcement.
He was Sr. VP of Border Security, for Sandler & Travis Trade Advisory Services (STTAS)
from 2002 to 2006. Mr. Winwood is a 30-year U.S. Customs Service veteran, having held
numerous positions in the agency, including Deputy Commissioner, Acting Commissioner
and Assistant Commissioner for the Offices of Field Operations, Strategic Trade, and
Inspection and Control. Mr. Winwood is highly regarded for his leadership in the creation
of Customs’ Risk Management Program, which was adopted by the World Customs
Organization. Some of the awards he has received include Presidential Rank Award for
3 Distinguished Executives (2000), Commissioner's Unit Citation, Office of Strategic Trade
(1998), Meritorious Executive Presidential Rank Award (1995 and 1990), Distinguished
Service Award (1995), Federal Executive of the Year Award (1994), Federal Computer
Week Federal 100 Award (1994), Decorated Combat Veteran - Republic of Vietnam,
United States Army(1970). He holds a Master’s Degree in Management and Public
Administration from Florida International University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education
from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

RON ROSS NAMED CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF SENTRILLION
RESTON, VA, November 2007 – Sentrillion Chairman, Richard Kay, has announced that Ron Ross has been named the company’s Chief Executive Officer. As C.E.O., Ron will be responsible for developing and executing Sentrillion’s organic growth and acquisition strategy.

SENTRILLION AWARDED $61M CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION AGENCY CONTRACT
Contract provides CBP Personnel with Enhanced Situational Awareness, Security, and Port Management Capabilities
RESTON, VA, October 2007 – Richard Kay, Chairman of Sentrillion, announced today that the company had won a contract award from Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection Agency (DHS CBP) with a ceiling of 61.0 million dollars.
This border surveillance contract was awarded competitively under the GSA Millennia Lite contract vehicle and is for a five year period.
“This award significantly expands Sentrillion’s work in border protection at the ports of entry and is a testimony to the confidence we have built in the last ten years of performance with port security,” said Kay. “All of us at Sentrillion are very proud to be the company selected to support this mission-critical contract”.
