Carl Craig

Vice President of Business Development

Carl Craig is Vice President of Business Development for Sentrillion. He joined Sentrillion in May 2010, bringing 27+ years of experience in the U.S. Government as an Air Force Reserve Officer and Federal Law Enforcement Officer with DHS. He has a proven track record of developing effective strategic plans, creating successful new programs, and improving overall performance of the organizations by which he was charged with a leadership role. He has a strong leadership style and comprehensive knowledge of government procurement and acquisitions practices.

Mr. Craig was commissioned in the US Air Force in 1978 and retired from the US Air Force Reserves in 2000. Mr. Craig's 20-year law enforcement career started with US Customs in 1986 and he retired from DHS in 2006. Both of Mr. Craig's federal service tours culminated in Command leadership positions. Mr. Craig retired from DHS as the Field Commander, Jacksonville Air & Marine Branch and as the commanding officer of his Air Force Reserve component.

Mr. Craig's duties were primarily in the operational mission as a pilot, manager and executive but he also served in other key assignments in government such as serving as an advisor to Presidents George Herbert Walker Bush and William Jefferson Clinton. Additionally, Mr. Craig served as an advisor on Secretary Tom Ridge's DHS Integration staff. His key responsibilities were to formulate national policy and assist in framing the laws governing anti-terrorism and national security.

Mr. Craig's commercial career took him to AgustaWestland Inc., where he was the Director of Marketing and Business Development for Federal Programs.

Mr. Craig has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Carolina - Columbia, where he was an Air Force ROTC 4-Year Scholarship Cadet. He also has a M.S. in Management Science from National-Louis University and is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute.
