James R. Bloomberg
James R. Bloomberg is President of LTS Corporation. He has guided LTS Corporation for over 35 years and developed long standing relationships with key government agencies. Mr. Bloomberg has been instrumental in the success and growth of LTS Corporation, from its beginnings as a small minority-owned business and graduation from the SBA 8(a) Small Busness Development Program in 1986.
Mr. Bloomberg began his career with the federal government after serving in the U.S. Navy as a commissioned officer. He worked in Naval Operations and Naval Intelligence. He was employed by the Central Intelligence Agency working in operations and analysis and also by the U.S. Department of Justice.
Mr. Bloomberg began his commercial career as an Intelligence Analyst for Planning Research Corporation and was subsequently employed by System Development Corporation. Among the Government agencies with which he has associated are the Department of Defense (Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, DARPA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), National Institutes of Health, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), among others. LTS Corporation has also had contracts with General Electric, IBM, DuPont, AT&T, Lockheed-Martin and others.
Mr. Bloomberg has a degree in Geophysics from Boston University and has done graduate work at American University and the University of Virginia.
