Responsibilities:
- Lead sales and marketing efforts for the Network and Information Assurance Practice in pursuit of Information Assurance, Network Engineering, and Enterprise Solutions Support contracts.
- Manage capture of task orders for new and existing accounts, beginning with the development of strategy and customer needs, creating account and call plans, developing client relationships and early influence of the procurement, identifying and executing win strategies, creating winning technical solutions, negotiating teaming agreements, recruiting key personnel, and developing pricing strategy.
- Develop and initiate strategic plan for the Network and Information Assurance Practice by identifying offerings and correlating to customer challenges, creating opportunity roadmaps and developing a marketing plan.
- Provide services to both civilian and federal agencies, focusing primarily on Department of Defense (Army, DISA, and air force) and DHS accounts.
- Work closely with internal program and operations managers to assess requirements, negotiate teamlng arrangements and develop proposals Track Federal IT trends and issues in order to provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in technical service business development capture.
- At least 5 to 7 years experience in TECHNICAL SALES and BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT in DOD and federal market.
- Extensive experience in developing Customer relationships, business pipeline, high win rates and bookings.
- Experience in Program Management and Solution Development.
- Maintain an extensive network within the Federal government and contracting communities in the DC metropolitan area.
- Have a particular aptitude for breaking into new markets.
- Can quickly assimilate new products and develop new accounts.
- Strong technical background and seasoned interpersonal skills.
- Active in Professional Organizations, Industry Committees and Working Groups, High energy, results oriented professional, general knowledge of federal security policy requirements and NIST Special Publications.
- Excellent Technical Writing Skills.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
